IPL 2019: Kieron Pollard’s action sparked controversy in the final

XtraTime Web Desk: Kieron Pollard’s action sparked controversies during the final of IPL 2019 today. The situation aroused after the third ball of the final over of first innings when his countryman Dwayne Bravo was bowling to him. In the third ball Pollard shuffled a bit to the off side to hit the delivery from Bravo but finally left it as it was going a lot outside the off stump. Shockingly the umpire didn’t give it a wide. Though Pollard didn’t say anything to the umpire but his next action on field was funny on one side and against the laws of cricket as well. Ahead of the fourth delivery Pollard took guard way outside the off stump outside the pitch and when Bravo started his run up to bowl he moved away from his stance which forced Bravo stop. After that both the umpires have a word with him and told him he can’t do this. It was clear that Pollard has lost his cool after the third ball of the over which was clearly a wide and the umpire denied it.

Though in the final two deliveries Pollard hit two back to back fours and took Mumbai to a competitive score off 149 but his actions created a lot off heat in the final.
