India tour to England 2022: England names squad for fifth Test against India

Xtra Time Web Desk: England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has announced its squad on Monday for the rescheduled fifth Test against India, which begins on Friday in Edgbaston cricket ground in Birmingham. Wicketkeeper Sam Billings was added to the 15-man squad.

The hosts have retained the same squad that registered a clean sweep in the three match test series against New Zealand. Ben Stokes led England test side are on a role, having displayed some entertaining brand of cricket.

England trail 1-2 in the five-match series. The fifth Test, scheduled to be played at Old Trafford last year, was cancelled following COVID-19 cases in the Indian camp.
