Xtra Time Web Desk: The Indian players received good news ahead of their departure to UK for a three month long tour. The cricketers can now travel with their families to England. The Board of Cricket Control of India (BCCI) & England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) managed to get necessary clearances for the player’s families from the UK Government on Monday. This comes as a huge relief for the players as it is a long tour and they have to stay mostly in bio bubble. The same set of quarantine norms will apply for the families as it is for all the squad members.

Currently both the men’s and women’s squads are in Mumbai in the same hotel quarantining themselves. Even the families of the various squad members are currently quarantining with them and are part of the Bio-Bubble.
Both the teams will travel to London on June 2 in a chartered flight and will proceed to Southampton the same day. They will be reportedly in 3 days hard quarantine before being allowed to train. The women squad will move to Bristol while the men’s squad will stay put at the same facility for the World Test Championship finals against New Zealand beginning on June 18.
