IND vs SA 5th T20I: Rain plays spoilsport as play gets abandoned; series levelled at 2-2

Xtra Time Web Desk: The fifth and final T20I between India and South Africa has been abandoned after rain played spoilsport at the M Chinnaswamy stadium on Sunday night. The five match T20 series between India and South Africa is levelled at 2-2.

A cracker of a match was anticipated for the series decider but as it turned out rain played spoilsport. Rishabh Pant and his boys set the stage with a brilliant comeback in Vizag and Rajkot. There was a decent crowd but the famed Bengaluru weather played a dampner.

The fans who turned out felt gutted that they were robbed off some great entertainment. It was a shame that this final match could not be staged. South Africa keep their proud record intact – of not having lost a limited-overs series on Indian soil since 2010.
