Internet Desk: England cricket team’s talented duo—Stuart Broad and Moeen Ali took time out of their busy schedules to pay a visit to football club Tottenham Hotspur’s training ground. And they were greatly surprised with what they saw!

Tottenham striker Harry Kane and midfielder Tom Carroll welcomed Broad and Ali to Hotspur way. Kane, who supporting the England cricket team in the ICC World T20, got the opportunity to meet the stars and rub shoulders with them.

“What an amazing facility you guys have here – everything is five-star,” Broad, 29, told Tottenham Hotspur’s official website. “I’ve always been a believer that what happens off the pitch really does help the players on the field and you can see why Spurs have had such a brilliant season.

“It’s absolutely world class, even down to the lunches – it’s beautiful and I think the Spurs players know that they are very, very lucky to be here.”

Ali, 28, agreed: “The facilities are very, very impressive,” he said. “I knew they’d be good but I didn’t think they’d be as good as I’ve seen. It’s great to be here.”

In the video released by England Cricket on Twitter, the players seem to have a lot of fun. Broad and Ali were given some footballing tests while Kane and Carroll got some exclusive cricket challenges.

Following the challenges, Broad heaped a lot of praise on Kane saying, “You can tell Harry played a lot of cricket when he was a youngster – he has real hand-eye coordination and I think he hit Moeen into the changing rooms!”

“I think he’s chosen the right career if I’m brutally honest, having scored over 20 goals in two seasons running!” Broad smiled.

Broad and Ali are currently in the England team that is hosting Sri Lanka for a long series. The boys have won the Test series 2-0 with one Test yet to come.

Meanwhile, Kane is currently focusing on the upcoming UEFA EURO 2016 after a brilliant season with Spurs. The talismanic striker scored 25 goals, leading the club to third place finish in the Premier League.
