India women T20 captain Harmanpreet Kaur has tested positive for COVID-19

Xtra Time Web Desk: The India women T20 team captain Harmanpreet Kaur has tested positive for COVID-19 and is experiencing mild symptoms. Kaur, who did not play in the T20 series against South Africa in Lucknow after injuring herself in the fifth ODI on March 17, got herself tested on Monday after developing mild fever.

In the recently concluded ODI series against Proteas women, Harmanpreet showed decent form with the bat, scoring a half-century and a 40. India women team lost both the ODI and T20 series South Africa women.

Recently former India cricketers Sachin Tendulkar, Yusuf Pathan, Irfan Pathan and Subramanium Badrinath have all tested positive with no symptoms for the dreaded COVID-19. Everyone is isolating themselves and quarantining at home.
