Internet Desk: The International Olympic Committee has completed all its meetings prior to the Games starting after five days. The Committee is happy after all the supervision done during pre-Games period. Thus president of IOC claimed that Brazil is all set to gift a ‘Great’ Olympic in their own style.

‘I am looking forward to great Games’ said the President. ‘There will last minute challenges, but what we have seen so far is that Brazilians are capable of addressing challenges, and I am more confident than ever that that we will have great Games à la Brazil in five days from now’, President Thomas Bach said.

The four hour meeting was to revise the supervisions the Committee conducted. All the members came to a common point that situation may come at its hard. Brazil is ready to handle it by any means. Thus they advised Olympic fans to be tuned with passionate Brazilian style.

“We’re sure that we are going to have some great Olympic Games Brazilian style. Brazilian-style Olympic Games are Games full of passion and the joy of living,” Bach said in responded.

The president of IOC himself traveled the Rio Games village. He gave the certificate of ‘Great’ after talking to several people of different dimensions linked with the Games.

IOC President said, “When I arrived five days ago, I went straight to the Olympic Village. After talking to Chefs de Mission, NOCs and athletes I could sense a positive attitude and a great spirit. There has been a great deal of understanding with all the NOCs and athletes working together to make this village a success.”

The rest of the Olympic facilities and venues, including the much-criticised Guanabara Bay, the polluted body of water where the sailing competition will take place, are all being monitored thoroughly, Bach said.

“At this time, we are doing four examinations per day that show that the water in the bay meets World Health Organisation standards,” the IOC chief said.

Regarding the ban on Russian Olympians IOC president said, “We are now at (the) third stage, where the EB(IOC Executive Board) has taken the decision to delegate its power to a panel of three members of the EB. This panel will now work and receive, step by step, the reports of the experts”.

After the final meeting the announcement of Olympic Channel also took place. “The Olympic Channel is ready to go. The moment for the launch will be immediately after the Olympic Ceremony concludes”, declared Bach.
