Xtra Time Web Desk : Former Team India off spinner Harbhajan Singh on Friday tested positive for COVID-19 as the ‘Turbanator’ took to Twitter to make the announcement.
“I’ve tested positive for COVID with mild symptoms. I have quarantined myself at home and taking all the necessary precautions. I would request those who came in contact with me to get themselves tested at the earliest. Please be safe and take care,” wrote ‘Bhajji’ on his Twitter handle.
Along with Harbhajan, his wife Geeta Basra too tested positive for the deadly virus as she took to her Instagram story to write, “After being so careful and trying to dodge this damn thing for 2 years, the virus finally caught us.”
Earlier last year on December 24, Harbhajan Singh retired from all forms of cricket with two World Cups in his bag, thus ending his 23 year long career.
