Finally a victory against an ISL side for East Bengal

Kolkata: After two back to back loses against ISL sides, East Bengal finally registered a win. The Red and Gold brigade managed to defeat FC Goa 2-1 at Goa.

East Bengal took the lead in the first half after Brendon scored for his side. The second half saw Manveer equalizing for Goa. Willis Plaza yet again missed countless opportunities to place the ball at the back of the net.

Charles who came on as a substitute for Plaza scored for the Kolkata outfits as they registered a victory in 4 matches.

The team will travel to Kolkata on November 5 and after practicing for a couple of days will travel to Jamshedpur on the 8th November where they will face the new ISL side on November 10. After a win against a ISL side one can be sure that the team will be breaming with confidence.
