The Croatian tactician has been building up a new-age Indian side for the future and the Durand Cup possibly would be another competition where he would be looking for fresh faces.
The 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualification round will begin on September 5 and there is all possibility that there would be a few more new faces, if not in the squad, definitely in the conditioning camp.
The Durand Cup will begin on 2nd August at Kolkata with Mohun Bagan kicking off the competition at the Salt Lake Stadium.
