Xtra Time Web Desk : Former World cup winning Team India captain Kapil Dev has recently opened up in an interview about the film 83. The teaser of the movie which is based upon the story of Team India’s 1983 World Cup triumph has gained immense popularity over the last few days.
Speaking about the film, the Haryana Hurricane said, “Everybody including me is excited about the movie. The trailer makes you emotional about the World Cup win. Regarding my character speaking English in the movie, I still don’t know the language well enough but I know the language to communicate and that’s what is important. When the movie releases later this month, we will come to know how well Ranveer Singh has portrayed me. We have seen the trailer and he has done a good job. They spent time with me to learn how to portray me.”
The cast of the film include some superstars of Indian Cinema like Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. It will be now interesting to see how it works in the box office.
