‘Definitely not’ – MS Dhoni ends all the speculations regarding his retirement from CSK

XtraTime Web Desk – Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the greatest warrior of Chennai Super Kings clarified on Sunday that he’s not going to end his cricketing career as of now and that he will carry on playing for Chennai Super Kings.

CSK won the toss against Kings XI Punjab and MS Dhoni then quickly said that his team will bowl first. Danny Morrison then asked MS whether this is going to be his last game in Yellow to which Dhoni replied, ‘Definetly not’.

These two words gave all the fans a sense of relief that MS Dhoni is not considering his retirement from cricket as of now.

The 39 year old Dhoni is considered to be the ‘thala’ (leader) of Chennai Super Kings. The franchise is built based on the philosophy of MS Dhoni. Thus, with him staying is definetly a positive sign for Chennai Super Kings.

Dhoni has more than 4500 IPL runs in his career and won 3 IPL trophies in his career. This is the first time in history when Chennai Super Kings isn’t in the playoffs of IPL. As of now, the fans only demand a half century from him vs Kings XI Punjab. If he fails to do so then this will be the first time when Dhoni will fail to score a half century in a particular season of IPL.
