XtraTime Web Desk: He is always special – on and off the field. In a bid to create awareness about the deadly Coronavirus pandemic that has brought the entire world to a standstill, Juventus superstar and Portuguese football legend Cristiano Ronaldo shared a video of himself teaching his kids the importance of cleaning hands with hand sanitizer. Ronaldo, who has been vocal about the sudden spread of the COVID-19 outbreak is embracing self-quarantine measures in his home town, Madeira.

The Juventus forward and perhaps one of the greatest players to play the beautiful game in the modern era has been quarantined ever since Italy was tormented by the COVID-19 disease which was later declared by a pandemic by the World Health Organization. Ronaldo, a role model both on and off the field has used his massive social media following to enlighten fans and followers about the pneumonic disease which has killed over 4,825 people in Italy alone.

Ronaldo on Saturday took to Instagram and shared an adorable video with his family where the former Manchester United and Real Madrid star can be seen using a hand sanitizer to make sure his kids – twins Eva and Mateo, along with Alana Martina endorse a healthy and clean lifestyle. The video shared by Ronaldo on Instagram Stories instantly went viral and fans were quick to praise the starman of the Old Lady for spreading awareness about the pandemic.

Ronaldo’s video about embracing proper sanitization has come at a time when his Juventus teammate Paulo Dybala was diagnosed with coronavirus. Dybala used to share the Juventus locker room with Ronaldo before the Italian Serie A and Italy’s major sporting events were cancelled due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Dybala has become the third Juventus star after Blaise Matuide and Danielle Rugani to get diagnosed with the Covid-19 in Italy’s top flight.
