Sai Hope almost single-handedly guided West Indies to victory over India in the second T20I. However, he failed to make an impact in the third match. After the game, Indian pacer Arshdeep Singh was delighted with the outcome and revealed that the team had a specific plan to dismiss Hope. He was pleased that their strategy worked perfectly on the field.

Hope has been in sensational form during the series against India. After scoring back-to-back centuries in the ODI series, he continued his impressive run in the T20Is, registering a half-century in the opening match before smashing a century in the second game. However, in Indore, Arshdeep dismissed him for just five runs.

Arshdeep revealed that the Indian team had discussed a specific strategy to contain Hope before taking the field. He expressed his satisfaction at seeing the plan work as intended and credited the coaching staff for preparing the strategy.

"The coaches had told us what we needed to do, and it worked out well on the field," Arshdeep indicated, expressing his gratitude to the coaching staff for their guidance.

Arshdeep also praised the collective effort of the bowling unit for successfully defending a big total. He credited his own performance as well as Mayank's contribution in keeping the opposition under pressure.

"I bowled well, and from the other end, Mayank kept them under pressure. Everyone bowled well, and that is what makes me happy," Arshdeep said.

Former West Indies fast bowler Ian Bishop also praised India's bowlers for their tactical planning and their ability to execute the strategy effectively on the field.
