Internet Desk: Chile hot shot Eduardo Vargas insists his side should not be considered favorites when it faces Colombia in the Copa America semifinal.

Hoffenheim forward Vargas hit four goals as holders Chile routed Mexico 7-0 in the quarterfinals.

But the former QPR hitman is expecting a far tougher challenge when Chile take on the Colombians at Soldier Field in Chicago.

Vargas now has six goals to his name, two more than Argentina superstar Lionel Messi in the race for the Golden Boot.

“I think in the match against Mexico we showed we have the same quality we showed in the last Copa America and in World Cup qualifiers,” he added.

“I’m very happy to be the current leading goalscorer in the Copa Centenario. It’s very special for me, and I’m enjoying it.”

The Bayern Munich midfielder collected his second yellow card of the tournament against Mexico and serves a one-match ban.

However, Colombia striker Carlos Bacca said: “We know what Vidal brings, but they have excellent players.

“Individually, they are great but they are a team and that is why they are champions.” Bacca confirmed he will be fit for the showdown despite concerns about an ankle injury.
