Chelsea willing to spend 120 million euros to get Ronaldo to Stamford Bridge

XtraTime Web Desk: Premier League club Chelsea is linked to making a huge bid for Cristiano Ronaldo to see him next season at Stamford Bridge. The London based club is on a spending spree as they have already signed Ajax ace Hakim Ziyech and appear close to sealing a deal with RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner.

According to the global press, the Blues are willing to spend 120 million euros to sign Ronaldo. Although the Portugese international has two more years left in his contract with Juventus, he’s looked a bit off the pace recently. Ronaldo joined Juventus from Real Madrid for 117 million euros in 2018.

Although the Portuguese superstar has failed to replicate the form which he produced at Real Madrid, the attacker has still scored 53 goals from 76 appearances in all competitions.

The speculation comes at a time when Juventus are looking to raise transfer funds and reduce their outgoings, which includes introducing a salary cap when making new signings.

The London based club is desperately looking at replacements for Willian, Pedro and Michy Batshuayi. With Hakim Ziyech already signing for the Blues next season and Timo Werner also expected to join in coming weeks, Chelsea is getting ready for more surprises.
