Xtra Time Web Desk: Can Team India’s stand in T20 captain Rishabh Pant achieve a special feat at Chinnaswamy stadium on Sunday? Pant could become the first Indian captain to win a T20 series against South Africa at home, if the hosts win the deciding fifth T20I. If the wicket keeper batter can lead the Indian team to a series win, it will be something special as former captains MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli have failed to do so in their tenure.

Meanwhile, the Indian and South African teams reached Bengaluru for the fifth and final T20I on Saturday. The players of both the teams reached the Garden City from Rajkot on Saturday morning. The deciding match of the five match T20I series will be played at the M Chinnaswamy stadium.

Both teams have opted not to train after reaching Bengaluru. The players had a light gym and pool session at the Team Hotel.

There is forecast of showers in Bengaluru on Sunday. According to weather reports there is prediction of 80% showers. It has been pouring in the tech capital of the country for the last few days, specially in the evening.

The Men in Blue showed tremendous character to bounce back in the T20I series after losing the first couple of matches.

As far as statistics are concerned India hold a poor record at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in T20Is. In five T20Is so far India have won only two while losing the other three T20Is.

But with the momentum behind them after two comprehensive wins, the hosts will feel a lot confident of clinching their first ever T20 series win over Proteas at home.
