Bundesliga: Champions Bayern Munich end season on a high with a 4-0 drubbing over Wolfsburg

XtraTime Web Desk: Champions Bayern Munich ended the Bundesliga season on a high, crushing Wolfsburg by a 4-0 margin at Volkswagen Arena on Saturday night. Hans Dieter Flick’s side ended the season with 82 points from 34 matches. Bayern has been stupendous throughout the Bundesliga season, registering 26 wins while losing just 4 matches. The Bundesliga champions scored 100 goals and conceded only 32. Second placed Borussia Dortmund ended the season with 69 points.

Kingslay Coman( 4’), Mickael Cuisance( 37’), Robert Lewandowski (72’ penalty) and Thomas Muller(79’) were on target for Bayern. Lewandowski with 34 goals was once again the highest scorer in the league. This is the third consecutive time the Polish has won the Golden Boot. It’s also the fifth time the big Polish striker won the award in his time in Germany and fourth time with Bayern. The Big Pole fell just 6 goals short of legendary Gerd Muller who has 40 goals in a season.
