Back with more aggression – Can Sreesanth re-live his glory days?

XtraTime Web Desk – Shanthakumaran Sreesanth Nair can be a new name for hope if he can do something noteworthy in the upcoming Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.

Being banned from cricket for eight long years, Sreesanth has finally made his comeback. He has been selected in the eighteen man Kerala squad for the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy which is scheduled to start from January 10th.

Every cricket fan knows how aggressive Sreesanth used to be when he used to represent India. The fast bowler also won 2 World Cup’s for the country as he represented India in 2007 t20 World Cup and 2011 World Cup.

After that, Sreesanth’s name was involved in spot fixing scandal and he was banned but one thing Sreesanth taught everyone is – Never give up. At the age of 37, when most of the cricketers retire Sreesanth is eyeing to represent India in the 2023 World Cup.

However, there’s one question that people still don’t know – Does he have that thing anymore? Well, the answer is not yet found but the coloumn besides passion and aggression needs to be ticked in bold.

During the warm-up games, Sreesanth was seen having the same aggression he used to have back in the days. He also did some animated celebrations to keep him charged up. He was also sledging the batsman at one point.

He picked up couple of wickets but definitely send a signal to others that Shanthakumaran Sreesanth is back in business. The long battle to prove himself innocent took his golden years away from him but definitely a comeback at 37 years of age will definitely be a sign of hope for everyone. The never give up attitude is just what everyone needs to have.
