Xtra Time Web Desk: Afghanistan’s star leg spinner Rashid Khan is in awe with Team India’s opening batsman Rohit Sharma. The Sunrisers Hyderabad leggie is amazed to see Rohit’s ability with the bat and the extra second that he always has while batting.

“I agree he has more time. He has got a lot of time. I have seen very few players who have a lot of time. It is natural for some players to have more time. The way he pulls even if it is 145 plus or 150 kmph, the way he hits, it seems the ball is 125 or 130 kmph. He has got great time. He doesn’t hit too many powerful shots. He believes in his timing,” Rashid Khan said in an interview on a You Tube channel.

Rashid also shared his dream to play alongside former India captain MS Dhoni. Rashid, who plies his trade for Sunrisers Hyderabad in Indian Premier League just want to experience playing under the Chennai Super Kings captain

According to Rashid, “I have a dream that I play under MS Dhoni. Because the experience playing with him, under him is very important. For a bowler, the role of wicketkeeper is very important and I don’t think there is anyone better than him to explain you things,” Rashid Khan told YouTube show Cricast.

While playing under Dhoni could remain an unfulfilled dream, the leg spinner revealed a piece of advice he received from the great man.

Last time he told me ‘You have to be careful while fielding, you slide, throw the ball when it is not necessary, you get aggressive. Because there is only one Rashid and people want to see you more, what will happen if you get injured? Keep this in mind, I tell (Ravindra) Jadeja the same thing,'” said Rashid.
