Internet Desk: The Sri Lanka cricket board (SLC) has lodged an official complaint regarding the poor air quality of New Delhi where the Lankans had to play the third and final Test match against the World No.1 Test side India.

Sports Minister of Sri Lanka Dayasiri Jayasekara confirmed that the SLC has made a complaint to the ICC regarding Delhi smog on Tuesday, stating,”we can’t play like this as four players had vomited” due to the pollution.

He further added that the parent body of World Cricket told them that they would take necessary steps after looking at everything.

The visitors managed to draw the final Test at Kotla as the hosts won the series 1-0 and it was the nation’s ninth successive series win.

Sri Lanka’s cricketers wore face masks during the match and the bowlers complained of shortness of breath.
