Internet Desk: India cricket team coach Ravi Shastri ans star opener Shikhar Dhawan visited the Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Thiruvananthapuram, to seek some divine help ahead of facing New Zealand in the third and deciding T20I at Greenfield International Stadium. They spent ample time in the famous temple before returning back to the team hotel. The series is level at 1-1 and against number 1 side in this format the Men in Blue needs all the help from wherever they get to win the final T-20I.

The visitors thumped the hosts in the second T20I at Rajkot and looking to seal the series at Thiruvananthapuram today.

The hosts don’t have much stat in their favour as their record against the Kiwis in T20 cricket is very poor. Both the teams have faced each other eight times. Among these matches one match was abandoned back in 2012. In remaining seven games India could only manage to win one game, which came in the first T20I at New Delhi in the ongoing series.

Except skipper Virat Kohli and former captain MS Dhoni every other batsmen failed to contribute with the bat. Kohli & Co. will be aiming to change that thing in the decider at Thiruvananthapuram.
