Xtra Time Web Desk : Manchester City on Tuesday will play 13 time UEFA Champions League winners Real Madrid in the first semi final of the elite European competition, which is expected to be a high voltage clash between the two footballing giants.
Manchester City on one hand are fresh from a thumping 5-1 victory over Watford in the Premier League, while Real Madrid on the other hand would be oozing out with confidence, especially after their 3-1 victory over Osasuna in the La Liga.
While Manchester City, playing on their home turf would be depending upon their possessional football, Carlo Ancelotti’s side would be heavily putting their hopes on their star striker Karim Benzema and skillful Brazilian winger Vinicius Junior to hit their opponents on counter attack.
The last time these two faced was during the 2019-20 champions league last 16, where Manchester City emerged as the winners with a double over the European heavyweights.
