Kolkata: Trevor Morgan is slated to leave for Perth tomorrow night post the George Telegraph match which will be his match as coach of East Bengal in the this year’s CFL campaign.

East Bengal will like to win the match ahead of the big derby against Mohun Bagan on the 7th and gain confidence. The Red and Gold brigade will miss the services of four senior players in this match who are busy with their national duties.

George Telegraph who are almost at the bottom of the table will look to gain atleast a point from this match which will be a huge booster for them. They will rely on their attacking forward duo of Babatunde and Kamo.

Coach Morgan said, “I will be leaving for Perth tomorrow night. I have made Richard and Abhijit understand everything for these few matches especially the derby.”

When asked about Richard taking the pressure of a match like derby, Morgan squipped away saying, “Even Shankarlal is the assistant of Sanjoy Sen. if he can manage a team like Mohun Bagan then why can’t Richard do. I have made him understand and being my assistant for all these days, it won’t be an issue.”

“Not only in India, if you go through world football, when managers are not available, assistant managers takes the charge. Its nothing new”, Morgan added.
