Xtra Time Web Desk: Former England captain Kevin Pietersen has expressed his concern over a man getting stabbed in a broad daylight attack on a train in London. The incident took place between Shortlands and Beckenham on a train heading to Victoria on 27 March, Wednesday. The local police launched an appeal for the witnesses to come forward after the victim was reported to have serious injuries.

Pietersen also pointed out recent instances where people have been robbed in the capital in broad daylight.

Pietersen captioned the post, ‘WTAF is this now in London?!?!?! London was once the most amazing city. It’s an absolute disgrace of a place.’

Meanwhile, Pietersen is currently in India for his IPL commentary stint. He announced his retirement from the sport in March 2018, won four Ashes series and hit 8,181 runs in 104 Tests.
