Md Rafique who joined the training today despite injury worries didn’t train with the team today. He was seen jogging and spending time with the assistant coach cum player Ishfaq Ahmed.

The Head Coach, Manchester United’s legendary winger Steve Coppell was right on toes from the word go! The former Manchester City boss tried different situation moves after some off the ball trainings.

The training gave the indication that Coppell wants to shape the side into a defensive unit. Indian national team centre back Sandesh Jinghan trained as a right fullback today which was completely an unusual position for the ace defender. British forward Antonio German trained as a lone forward during the training.

The Head Coach emphasised on the set piece movements as Josu and Michael Chopra were given the responsibilities to take the set pieces.

The Kerala outfit selected their second pre season venue at Kolkata as they will fly to Guwahati to play the opening game of the season three on 1st October
