Sabyasachi Bagchi : Former India wicketkeeper Kiran More expressed his shock on hearing the sad news of actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. The Bollywood actor was found hanging in his apartment in Mumbai. It was More who worked with Sushant, developing his cricket skills for the biopic on former India captain MS Dhoni.

Sharing his grief with Xtra Time, More said, “I have worked with him for 9 months. We became good friends . He worked very hard to be a cricketer. And as you can see in the film MS Dhoni, he actually became a cricketer. He was a very educated guy and was always a thinking man. He was a very hardworking guy and mentally very tough. It was extremely shocking news for me.”

More further added, “He trained very hard. It is never easy for an actor to become a cricketer. He worked very hard during practice. It is never easy to copy Dhoni and to play like him. It is never an easy job. It is very difficult, even if I will not be able to copy Dhoni. We had a great understanding. It was his efforts that reflected in the success of the biopic. He became a cricketer from an actor.”
Sushant was an extremely popular actor among Indian cricket fans considering he had played the role of former Indian captain MS Dhoni in the Ranchi superstar’s biopic MS Dhoni The Untold story. Soon after the news broke, More took to social media to react to the news.

“It is a shocking moment for me personally, @itsSSR was someone whom I trained for the role as @msdhoni. I don’t know how I or anyone who knows him will be able to recover from this shock, gone too soon my friend #SushantSinghRajput #RIPSushant,” More tweeted.
