Internet Desk: Brazilian legend Zico confirmed that he would return to India for a third stint with FC Goa in the Indian Super League. Zico’s decision to continue with FC Goa comes as a major boost. “Only thing that is missing at the moment is Zico’s signature. Both parties have agreed terms and the deal is done. Zico has agreed to coach the franchise, although, for now, he might only be in charge till the end of the ISL campaign. FC Goa initially wanted him on a longer deal but somehow Zico still needs to be convinced,”

He could even make an appearance next week in Goa when the new owner will address the media for the first time. The media conference has been tentatively scheduled for Tuesday at city hotel and plans are afoot to get Zico as well to sit alongside the new owner. Zico will continue to be the best-paid manager for the third successive year.

Meanwhile, Indian Super League champions Chennaiyin FC is delighted to announce that they have signed Dutch midfielder Hans Mulder for the 2016 edition of the ISL. Mulder played for Delhi Dynamos in the first two ISL campaigns and now joins Chennaiyin after a short spell at Spanish third tier outfit Cacereno earlier this year.

Born in Amsterdam, Mulder is half Spanish and had a stint at the youth setup of Real Zaragoza before joining Netherlands outfit RKC Waalwijk. He went on to play for RKC Waalwijk’s senior side in both the first and second tier of Holland. Mulder then had spells at Willem II and NEC in the Dutch Eredivisie before moving to Delhi Dynamos in the inaugural ISL through the international draft in 2014.

On the other hand Atletico De Kolkata signed East Bengal’s  young winger Abinash Ruidas on loan for the third edition of the ISL. Abinash he is seen as the upcoming prospect for Indian football. He has been donning the Red and Gold jersey for the last three years and has come forward with some impressive performances in the CFL and has been a regular member in the East Bengal squad in the U-22 quota for the I-League.

Ruidas made his professional debut in the I-League on 18 January 2015 in East Bengal’s against Sporting Goa.He then scored his first professional goal for East Bengal in the teams next game against reigning I-League champions Bengaluru FC. His 53rd-minute strike at the Salt Lake Stadium was the sole goal in a 1–0 victory.He also have played for India’s U-23 team and made his debut against Uzbekistan on March 2015.

Mumbai City FC have signed Uruguayan central defender Walter Ibanez to strengthen their back line . He has spent all of his career in leagues around South America, notably Uruguay, Peru and Chile. He currently plies his trade for Alianza Lima, the Peruvian Torneo Descentralizado’s most famous team.
