Xtra Time Web Desk: Former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh has suggested, RCB pacer Mohammed Siraj to take a break for a couple of games following their recent loss to MI on April 11. Siraj's IPL 2024 campaign has yet to gain momentum, with the India pacer struggling for form as RCB has suffered defeats in 5 out of their 6 matches. Siraj's poor form with the ball continued on Thursday against MI at the Wankhede stadium.

Against MI at the Wankhede stadium, Siraj conceded 37 runs in 3 overs without taking a wicket as MI secured victory. This performance leaves Siraj with only 4 wickets in 6 matches at an average of 57.25, a significant contrast to his IPL 2023 performance where he claimed 19 wickets at an average of 19.79. Harbhajan, speaking to Star Sports, advised the RCB management to allow Siraj time to regroup and reassess his approach as he has not met expectations this season.

"If I was part of the management, I would give him rest for a couple of games. Let him go back and think about what's been happening with him. He has been the same Siraj whom we have seen taking wickets with the new ball, whether it's Test cricket, one-day cricket or even in this format. He has been a champion bowler for Team India and even for RCB. I feel he is not doing what he is required to do," said Harbhajan.
