IPL 2021: Eoin Morgan led Kolkata Knight Riders travel to Chennai for first leg matches

Xtra Time Web Desk: Two-times former Indian Premier League (IPL) champions Kolkata Knight Riders on Thursday travelled to Chennai to play their first leg matches of IPL 2021, starting with the clash against Sunrisers Hyderabad on April 11. The team took an afternoon chartered flight  to Chennai, the venue for their first three matches.

The entire team and management were aboard the chartered flight, barring our three very special knights – Kuldeep Yadav, Lockie Ferguson and Pat Cummins – who are already quarantining at the team hotel in Chennai. The franchise shared the in-flight photos of the players on their official Twitter handle.

Eoin Morgan led side looks a rejuvenated unit with the addition of experienced Bangladesh all rounder Shakib Al Hasan and Harbhajan Singh. The franchise also brought Tim Seifert and Ben Cutting. The Knight Riders will be hoping for a great start to their IPL 2021 campaign.

April 11 vs Sunrisers Hyderabad at 7.30 PM IST

April 13 vs Mumbai Indians at 7.30 PM IST

April 18 vs Royal Challengers Bangalore at 3.30 PM IST
