Chennai Super Kings CEO Kashi Vishwanathan made a big statement on MS Dhoni's future

Xtra Time Web Desk: Good news for MS Dhoni fans as the Chennai Super Kings talisman will not hang his boots after IPL 2021. The CEO of the CSK on Thursday decided to break his silence on Dhoni’s future. According to Mr Vishwanathan, the Chennai based franchise is not looking at anybody beyond Dhoni to lead the side in the near future.

In an interview to InsideSport, Kashi Vishwanathan said, “If you ask me, I don’t see him retiring anytime soon. Not this year at least and this is my personal opinion.”

Dhoni has been leading the Chennai Super Kings since the inaugural IPL in 2008. The 39-year-old has led the Chennai side to three IPL titles.

The veteran wicket keeper batsman has been in terrific form ahead of the IPL 2021 season. He has been raining sixes during the CSK net session, which could be a big relief for the CSK team management.

Chennai Super Kings begin their campaign in IPL 2021 against Delhi Capitals at the Wankhede stadium on April 10.
