“Hey Viru ….”: Rohit Sharma at his hilarious best | INDvsAFG

Xtra Time Web Desk: There is never a dull moment with Rohit Sharma both on and off the field. In the third and final T20I against Afghanistan at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore on Wednesday, India’s skipper displayed his humorous side. Having faced successive ducks in the first two matches, Rohit found himself in a peculiar situation as the umpire signalled four leg byes on the first delivery he faced from Afghanistan’s left arm quick Fareed Ahmad.

Despite the umpire’s decision, Rohit Sharma was convinced that the ball had made contact with his bat. This led to a light-hearted moment on the field, with the Indian captain expressing his bemusement in his own distinctive style. His reaction added a comic twist to the situation, showcasing his ability to maintain a sense of humour even in challenging circumstances.

What exactly did Rohit say to the on-field umpires?

“Hey Viru, did you give the first ball as thigh pad – It clearly touched the bat. I have already been dismissed for zero twice,”Rohit was caught saying on stump mic.
