From Ilish Paturi to Daab Chingri – Check the Food menu for Emiliano Martinez during his visit to Kolkata

Xtra Time Web Desk: Argentina’s FIFA World Cup winning goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez has arrived in Kolkata to a warm reception. During his two-day visit from July 4 to 5, Martinez will attend various events and activities, including a visit to the Mohun Bagan ground. He will also take part in an interactive session at the Milan Mela and attend some social activities. On Wednesday there is a gala dinner at the JW Mariott in honour of the Argentine.

One of the highlights of his visit will be the “Tahader Kotha” conversation show at Kolkata’s Milan Mela Ground, where Martinez will have the opportunity to savor the delectable and lip-smacking Bengali cuisine. Renowned Bengali restaurant, Saptapadi, has been entrusted with the task of curating an exquisite menu for the occasion.

Martinez may have the chance to indulge in some Bengali delicacies the menu for which is curated by Saptapadi restaurant. It will include both Ilish paturi and Daab Chingri, the traditional dishes of Ghanti and Bangal.

The Aston Villa man will be able to sample several different foods.
