England v West Indies: 2nd Investec Test - Day Four
Former Aussie cricketer Shane Warne fined for not wearing seat belt by Tasmanian Police.

Internet Desk: Former Australian cricketer Shane Warne landed himself and two of his co-commentators, Michael Slater and Kevin Pietersen into trouble for posting a video on facebook. All three have been fined $300 by Tasmanian police for failing to wear seatbelts. The police authorities spotted the offence in a video on Warne’s Facebook page.

The four-minute video showed Warne, his former Australia teammate Slater and England’s Pietersen travelling in a van with former Australia captain Mark Taylor and Ian Healy. Former Aussie captain Mark Taylor was driving the van. The group is part of the cricket commentary team for the ensuing Australia versus South Africa test series. They are doing commentary for Australia’s Channel Nine.

After being filmed for a couple of minutes, the three of them realised their mistake and put on seatbelts. But sharp-eyed visitors to Warne’s page commented on their infringement and alerted police who investigated.

In a statement police said infringements were issued “after police reviewed a video posted on one of the men’s Facebook page”.
