East Bengal signed 16 Indian footballers in I.F.A prior to CFL

Kolkata: Prior to CFL Premier Division East Bengal signed a major number of footballers. Along with senior team members like Gurwinder Singh, Mehtab Hossain and Arnab Mondal, 16 footballers signed at the IFA office today as they were accompanied by senior manager Swapan Ball in the IFA office.

The list of players who signed today are as follows:

Goalkeepers: Luis Barreto, Dibyendu Sarkar

Defenders: Arnab Mondal, Narayan Das, Rahul Bheke, Koushik Sarkar, Babu Mondal, Samad Ali Mallick, Gurwinder Singh

Midfielders: Mehtab Hossain, Dika, Bikash Jairu, Abinash Ruidas

Strikers: Jiten Murmu, Rafiq

The schedule of  CFL Premier Division is yet to be announced. Ahead of that British coach of East Bengal Trevor James Morgan is trying to get his team ready. After returning from Kalyani completing the residential camp, East Bengal played a practice match yesterday against their own academy which they won 3-1 courtesy a hattrick from Do-Dong Hyun.

Two foreign players of the team Do Dong Hyun and Calum Angus will sign on Friday. East Bengal coach Morgan is training his team hard as he is working on the defense. East Bengal is set to play three more practice matches ahead of the CFL.
