East Bengal in talks with former superstar foreigner of NorthEast United

Kolkata: Kolkata giants East Bengal are in talks with Zambian midfielder Kondwani Mtonga for the forthcoming I-League season. The 33 year old mid-fielder has played 37 matches for his country. He was a part of Indian Super League side NorthEast United where he played for two years in 2014 and 2015. In his first season for the North East side he scored two goals too.

The Red and Gold Brigade has already signed three foreigners for the upcoming season. Syrian play-maker Mahmoud Al Amna has started his training with the side. The other two foreigners of East Bengal Willis Deon Plaza and Carlyle Deon Mitchell will arrive to Kolkata on 30th July after completing their International duties for their national side Trinidad and Tobago.
