XtraTime Web Desk: The much awaited first of five-match Test series is set to begin at Edgbaston and ahead of that the home side is desperate to do well against the Indian wrist-spinners. To counter India’s ace left-arm spinner Kuldeep Yadav they have brought three left-arm spinners who plays in England Club cricket.

In the recently concluded limited-overs series Kuldeep bowled brilliantly against the England batsmen to help the Men in Blue win the T20I series. The concerns for the England cricket team is that the current weather in England is very dry due to heat waves. Though the 22-yard were heavily watered, but as per the local authority the dry outfield would soak all the moisture from the pitch and leave the surface dry which will help the spinners.

And due to that reason , Akhil Patel (the brother of Samit Patel), William Blackwell (a club cricketer at Coggeshall in Essex) and Sam Wisniewski (a Yorkshire Under-17 cricketer) were called to bowl to the England batsmen during their final practice session. Beside them Jake Lintott of the Hampshire and Dom Bess and Jack Leach also took part.
