Cristiano Ronaldo declares Saudi Pro League superior to MLS, rules out European return

He believes that the Saudi Pro League is much bigger than the Major League Soccer (MLS) in the United States. After playing a friendly match against Celta Vigo in Portugal, Al-Nassr star Ronaldo faced the journalists and made such remarks.

He said, “The Saudi league is better than the MLS. I have opened the door to the Saudi league, and now all the players are coming here. Within a year, many top players will come to Saudi Arabia. Within a year, the Saudi league will surpass the Turkish league and the Dutch league.”

He made it clear that he will not return to Europe. Ronaldo stated, “I am 100% certain that I will not return to Europe. I am 38 years old, and the value of European football has somewhat diminished. Currently, only the Premier League remains a good place; they are ahead of the other leagues.”
