CPL 2020: KKR’s Sunil Narine in tremendous form, slams 2nd fifty in consecutive win for TKR

XtraTime Web Desk: Kolkata Knight Rider’s management will be happy to see the form of Sunil Narine in the ensuing Caribbean Premier League (CPL 2020). The mystery spinner notched up his second fifty in as many matches for the Trinbago Knight Rider’s (TKR) on Thursday against Jamaica Tallawahs.

After his brilliant all round show in the opening game for Sharukh Khan’s Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR), Narine slammed his second consecutive half century. Riding on the all round show by Narine, TKR easily defeated Jamaica Tallawahs by 7 wickets to register their 2nd consecutive victory in CPL 2020.

Narine was more dominant than his KKR teammate Andre Russell who represents Tallawahs in CPL. The Trinidadian brought up his fifty in only 35 balls and then picked a wicket by giving only 19 runs. It goes to be seen whether the KKR management uses Narine as a pinch hitter at the top of the order like last season as he had reasonable success opening the batting.
Narine will join the KKR squad straight in UAE after playing the CPL along with Andre Russell.
