XtraTime Web Desk: MS Dhoni led Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore on Friday will reach Dubai for the upcoming 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) which gets underway from next month on September 19. Rohit Sharma led Mumbai Indians too reached Abu Dhabi in the morning. With six out of the 8 participating teams already reaching UAE, the stage is set for the teams to start preparing for the cash rich league.

Virat Kohli led Royal Challengers Bangalore too left for Dubai on Friday. The franchise from Bangalore announced a 40-member contingent for the upcoming season of Indian Premier League (IPL) comprising 21 players, five net bowlers, two throw-down specialists and two personnel. Also included in the list is sports psychologist Chaitanya Sridhar and team doctor Charles Minz who have been looking after players’ mental health since March.


The team will be based out of the Waldorf hotel in Dubai for the tournament’s entire duration. A dedicated block of the hotel has been booked for the team, informed RCB chairman Sanjeev Churiwala.
The Bangalore franchise took to Twitter to share a picture of RCB’s players after boarding flight to UAE. They tweeted,”UAE Calling,The Royal Challengers are all set to take-off!”
