Champions Trophy: Bharat Army gearing up to cheer Team India

Virat Kohli and his team will have the strong support of Bharat Army – the unofficial fan club of the Indian cricket team for their clash against Pakistan on June 4. As many as 2000 members of Bharat Army will be at the stands in Edgbaston.  Few members of the group were present today at the Oval with a giant flag.

The Bharat Army has become famous in its association with Team India for its passionate and committed support travelling around the world supporting Team India for almost 15 years.

 “The strength of Bharat Army has grown over the years. We have been following the Indian team wherever they travel irrespective of their results. We are 60000 strong groups and are growing by each day. We always try to be loyal with the Indian team. Obviously we want to be regarded as the official supporters club of the Indian cricket team,” said Dhruv Patel, one of the member of the group before entering the Oval.

The Bharat Army had been preparing to come in numbers for the Pakistan clash since long time back. The members will get together on the eve of the match. According to Dhruv, “We have already organised a get-together before the night of the game in Birmingham on June 03. All our members all over the UK and India will gather around in Birmingham. We will be going to the stadium together to show our solidarity to the Indian team. We are expecting around 2000 spectators in the stands on June 4.”
