Bollywood actor wants Pakistani players to take part in IPL

Internet Desk: Veteran Bollywood superstar Rishi Kapoor on Wednesday said players from Pakistan should also be allowed to play the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Rishi twitted that the decision-makers should invite the Pakistani players in the IPL and make a part of the league.

” IPL, You got world players. My plea is please consider Pakistani players. Phir match hoga! Hum bade log hain. Please!” tweeted the veteran actor.

Pakistani cricketers last played the cash-rich league in its inaugural season in 2008.

Two players from Afganistan, Mohammed Nabi and Rashid Khan, will play their first IPL for Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Rashid was bought for Rs .4 crores by defending champions Sunrisers Hyderabad, along with Mohammad Nabi for Rs. 30 lakhs.

In the third season of IPL, 11 players were on th auction list, but none of them were picked up by any of the franchises.
