Internet Desk : BCCI’s 7th Annual General Meeting  will be held tomorrow with the shadow of the Supreme Court-appointed Lodha pannel’s advices hanging over them with one of their primary agenda of electing their celebratory secretary.

A notice regarding this meeting was sent by the honorary secretary Ajay Shirke  few days back on 31st August and surprisingly the suitable listed nominations regarding the election of the new celebratory secretary will be sent to the BCCI in a couple of hour window on Tuesday. After immediate analyzation  the candidates name would be displayed.

The election of the honorary secretary would be necessary for the board because the former secretary Shree Anurag Thakur had left the chair, as he became the president of BCCI, in accordance with Rule 13 (a) (ii) of the BCCI s existing Memorandum of Rules and Regulations.

Shirke had to hold the chair till the next AGM.

The BCCI has to conduct this honorary secretary election as per their existent rule,with the acceptability of the candidates, with former Supreme Court judge P.V. Sawant  to conduct the election as a returning officer.

In the other features the appointment of the Working Committee and Standing Committees like Senior and Junior selection panels under the BCCI’s existing rules, in comparison to the Lodha panel’s revised that calls for excluded panels which had been approved by the Supreme Court’s subsequent ruling.

The Lodha panel has also fixed the date for the total approval of its restoration approved by the Supreme Court and has also ordered the BCCI that tomorrow’s AGM should be “limited only to routine business concerning the past year “.
