Internet Desk: When a humble meet legends what happens? If this question is asked to Neymar he will surely reveal his first experience of glancing over the Barcelona dressing room. Recently the Brazil international revealed his first experience of witnessing Messi in the same dressing room.
Brazilian superstar joined Barcelona in 2013 despite of crawling problems of his native club Santos of Brazil. He described his first experience of sharing a dressing room with Messi and other stars like this- “I was afraid when I saw Messi and the others before my first Barcelona game”.
There was awe as well as delight in the mind of the Brazilian soccer star as he later said, “I got into the dressing room and Messi, Xavi, [Andres] Iniesta, [Gerard] Pique and Dani Alves were all there. These guys were my idols. It was almost as if I was playing on the Playstation. It was very difficult in the beginning.”
The Barcelona striker was forced out of the field after 2014 World Cup getting his vertebra broken during the semi-final match against German. Later Neymar described the bad time, “I have had a number ofdifficult moments in my career, but what happened during the world cup in Brazil is the most painful.”
After this incident he was also afraid that Barcelona will kick him out. However, retaining in Barcelona he rejoices of his luck as he is overwhelmed of his teammates of Barcelona. Till now he admits, “Dani Alves was fundamental for me when I came to Barcelona to help me adapt and become what I am now.”
