Kolkata: Former India captain and CAB President, Sourav Ganguly will be present on the final of the Kolkata Futsal League 2016 at Jagriti Sangha on July 16. I.F.A secretary, Utpal Ganguly said, “I have spoken to Sourav regarding this issue and he agreed to be present there.”
Apart from Sourav Ganguly, politician Subrata Bakshi will also be present on that occasion. Southern Samity has already booked a place in the final and their star striker Odafa Okolie may play for few minutes in the final. In another semi-final between George Telegraph and Aryan, the winner will face Southern Samity in the finals on 16th July.
Two major clubs from Bengal, East Bengal and Mohammedan have already paved their way from the tournament earlier losing to Aryan and Southern Samity respectively.
