Internet Desk: Mahendra Singh Dhoni one of the greatest batsmen in ODI cricket started his career with a duck against Bangladesh while he got run out in the very first delivery he faced. Later he became the most successful captain after wining inaugural World Cup T20, Champions’ Trophy and ICC World Cup.

Dhoni came in the squad when India was in search of a reliable man behind the stumps but, in first few matches he was not in form as his highest score were just 12 in five matches. Dhoni scored his first ton against Pakistan at Kochi and after that he never looked back in his career.

Regarded as the best finisher in the world, Dhoni has played 312 ODIs till now where he scored 9898 runs at an average of 51.55.
