For East Bengal, Bikash Singh, Swapan Chore and Sarthak Basu were on target while MD. Giasuddin and Surajuddin Munshi pulled a couple of goals back for the hosts at Mohammedan Sporting Ground. East Bengal's Swapan Chore was declared man of the match and he received a trophy along with a cash award of Rs 1000 from Former Mohammedan SC footballer Aslam Parvez and Abdul Sattar, Vice President of Mohammedan Sporting Fans Club.
