Kolkata: After signing 4 important players, East Bengal has set their target on Shankar Roy. The prolific goal keeper of Bengal who single handedly steered Bengal to reach the finals of the Santosh Trophy has now reportedly been a target for the Kolkata side.
The 24 year old goalie who made two brilliant saves in the tie-breaker of the semis in the Santosh Trophy has been approached by the Red and Gold brigade.
Mohammedan Sporting Club too has expressed their interest for him.
According to Sankar, if any of these clubs seek to bring him, he will surely join as it would be a great opportunity to prove his worth in such big clubs.
