Xtra Time Web Desk : With only a few days left for India’s tour of South Africa that begins with a Test match on 26th December, the greatest of all time Sachin Tendulkar lauded youngster Siraj for his sterling performances.

Getting complimented by the legend Sachin Tendulkar himself is one thing every young cricketer wants and when he does that, it becomes etched in the memory of the cricketer. Tendulkar on Wednesday shared his views on one of the most promising youngsters Mohammad Siraj in an interview session with Boria Majumder on his show Backstage with Boria. The 48-year-old former cricketer also endorsed Siraj’s energy and positive body language with which he plays a game.

Calling Siraj a fast learner the god of cricket appreciated the 27-year-old pacer’s qualities of being a fast learner and exhibiting positive body language, the factors that earned him the mammoth fame and glory in a short span of time.

"There is spring in his legs and that is what I like to see. His run-up… you can see he is full of energy. And he is one of those bowlers… when you look at him, you cannot figure out whether it’s the first or the last over of the day. He is coming at you all the time. He is a proper fast bowler and his body language is so positive. That is what I like. He is a fast learner,"
Talking about Siraj’s Test debut Sachin added "When he played last year in Australia when he made his debut in Melbourne, it never appeared like he was playing his first match. That was the maturity he showed. He builds up his spells so beautifully and thereon, he has not looked back. Every time I see him, there is something new that he introduces,"
