Image Source: ICC[/caption] Internet Desk: Veteran Sri Lankan spinner Rangana Herath took 11 wickets for his side in two innings as they beat the hosts Pakistan at the Abu Dhabi by 21 runs to take a 1-0 lead in the 2-match Test series. It was Pakistan’s first ever defeat in a Test match at Abu Dhabi. 39-year old Herath took his 100th wicket against Pakistan and became the only cricketer to achieve this feat. He also reached to a milestone of 400 wickets in Test cricket too. He became the first left-arm spinner in the history of Test cricket to take 400 wickets. Herath took six wickets for giving just 45 runs in the second innings and he was well supported by Dilruwan Perera who took three wickets for his the visitors. With the brilliant bowling by Herath and Perera the hosts could only manage to score 114 before getting all-out while chasing a tiny total of 136 to win. The Lankans could only manage to score 138 in the second innings on Day 5 and Pakistan had two sessions to score 136 runs on a pitch which was helping the spinners a lot. While chasing, Pakistan were in deep trouble as they lost five wickets for just 36 runs ahead of Tea. In the final session of play the Pakistani players could only manage to score 78 runs before getting all-out.
